Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature. Room was stylish and spacious, looking out into a private garden. There was a private outdoor onsen connected to the room as well. The locally sourced food was amazing and served in a private room with a garden view. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Various English explanations for the course menu, hotel and surrounding area. Free parking.

The stay in the Kurokawa Onsen exceeded our expectations. We spent amazing 18 hours in the onsen. We had specious room with private onsen. We could also use the other onsens in the resort privately. Dinner was served in a private room. The serving, taste, presentation was of the level of Michelin restaurant. The staff pays attention of every detail. Definitely worth recommendation. We loved it!

The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Staff helped us unload and load luggage and had it ready in our room. The room had all the amenities you need and had yukatas for our whole family. Glad to have booked the room with a private onsen as it was accessible at any time, highly recommended. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. They even prepared a separate kid's meal for my daughter. There were some shops to explore in the area, and it was extremely easy to get back on the road from this ryokan.

Gorgeous location. We loved the outdoor onsen with amazing views! Everything was extremely clean. The buffet was plentiful and all the staff were very friendly. The nearby Guernsey Farm is a must see for delicious milk and the coffee in Chie’s cafe was incredible. The staff at Chie’s were SO friendly.

Beautiful and convenient location. We picked to have breakfast and dinner included and it was so worth it. Food was delicious and focused on local dishes. The room was beautifully traditional and very roomy - the tatami smell is my favorite! The hot sping there made my skin SO SOFT!!!! Highly recommend.
