I arrived a few hours early with the intention of dropping off my bags. The staff brought me straight to my room and let me relax there while they prioritised its preparation for me. The room was clean and comfortable. It is a short walk away from the town and perfect if you want something quiet and beautiful.

Units are spacious and well set up for a long stay, with gorgeous views from your private balcony or the main pool area. There was also a nice surprise with a glass of wine in the evening.

The Eco Hotel Posta de Purmamarca is located at the foot of the famous Cerro de los Siete Colores (Cerro of Seven Colors) in Purmamarca, just four blocks from the main square and within the historic... We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Purmamarca. The staff are so friendly – the guy on reception was super smiley, gave us lots of information about the town, and even lent us a book about the local area to look through in our own time. He kindly upgraded our room free of charge and personally took us to the room, which was a really nice touch. The room was beautiful and very spacious, with a lovely bathroom and reusable eco products for shampoo and shower gel. There’s no air-conditioning, but there are fans and you really don’t need AC here. We stayed in December when it was very hot during the day, but the room (especially in the evening) was very cool and we still used blankets at night. The hotel is right in the centre of town and close to everything. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread and jam, cheese, ham, good coffee, and orange juice – all fresh and local. They also have llamas on site, and reception told us to just let them know if we wanted to go up and see them. There’s also a small rooftop staircase with great views of the town. They provide free mineral water and hot water, with flasks you can take back to your room, which was really appreciated. As an eco hotel, they reuse water to wash clothes and to grow plants and flowers in the gardens.

Featuring a panoramic view of the hills and a garden, Hosteria La Morada is a charming inn built in local material such as adobe and decorated with Andean themes. Exceptional! Love this place! Very peaceful, just steps from the downtown. Wonderful sleep in the fresh air and comfortable bed. Little stove top for coffee in morning or quick meal. Highly recommend!

Set only 300 metres from the main square, Aguacanto Cabañas offers heated accomodation with free Wi-Fi in Tilcara. A garden is featured and breakfast is provided. Pucara is 600 metres away. Great place to stay in Tilcara. Friendly staff! Parking available. Room was very clean.

The place is really beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, the room was great, really comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Located in Tilcara, Patio Alto offers a garden. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers a shared kitchen. The accommodation provides a shared lounge and a tour desk for guests. Absolutely everything was beautiful. The property and room was a calm oasis from the lovely bustling town of Tilcara. The staff were warm, friendly and knowledgable about the town and surrounding Jujuy area. The option to store your food in the fridge and make hot drinks and sandwiches for a day trip in the small but perfectly equipped side kitchen was an added bonus. The breakfast was beautifully presented and of very high quality. The property itself is decorated in such a lovely way, using natural materials and with incredible attention to detail. We wish we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Tilcara.
