Nestled in the heart of Kota Kinabalu City, Hilton Kota Kinabalu boasts four dining options, a cocktail bar and an outdoor rooftop pool with a bird’s eye view of the city and harbor. Everything was clean, everyone was friendly and helpful Location is a little off the main streets but no issue if you use grab. Local Borenos fried chicken and Welcome seafood are just next block. Room was clean, lounge was excellent with a band, staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent Hilton service.

Most attractions and riverfront are walking distance from hotel.

Boasting an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Imperial Hotel Kuching is strategically located next to Boulevard Shopping Mall. Very nice location. Easy access to the shopping mall and everything. My parents stayed there for 1 week. I almost went everyday to their room. Everything was clean and really nice. Staff and cleaners were friendly. I would recommend staying in this hotel. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the room facilities.

The staff was friendly and always smiling. You get daily room cleaning service with fresh towels and water bottles every day. The hotel is near Tanjung Aru beach and only 7 minutes from the airport. The bed was comfortable, A/C is working fine.

Amazing breakfast, with both continental and Asian cuisine. Huge room with fantastic sea view. The pool was great and lunch restaurant there was too. Staff unbelievably service minded and helpful. Perched on top of a hill, this resort is surrounded by the tropical rainforests of Borneo. The room was excellent—spacious, comfortable, and complete with an en-suite that provided everything we needed. There were two restaurants to choose from, and we dined at both; each offered very good food. Breakfast was particularly impressive, with an awe-inspiring range of options and consistently outstanding service in both venues. The pool was very good, and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming each day. A scenic walk down the gorge sits right beside the hotel, adding an unexpected highlight to the location. Overall, the hotel is very well situated—within easy reach of the port and only a reasonable taxi ride from the airport—making it both convenient and enjoyable as a base for exploring the area.
