Excellent location, right on the beach and close to the main street. The place is very well maintained and feels like a Brazilian jungle paradise. Everything was perfect, especially the service provided by Ivan, Fernanda and Paulinho from reception as they were very friendly, professional, polite and helpful at all time we needed. Also would like to mention the lady who was on shift at breakfast room during our stay, she was friendly and provided an excellent service as well. Very happy with our stay. I will highly recommend the hotel.

Hotel Deville Prime Salvador sits in a scenic landscaped park filled with lakes and rare birds. It features a business centre, as well as 2 bars, 2 restaurants and a tennis court. The pool was phenomenal. I did not know there was a kids area, that was a lovely surprise. The included breakfast was very good. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Both pools are clean and warm with plenty of space. The restaurant offers delicious Brazilian cuisine with some Italian fusion, the cocktails are delectable - it’s a must visit when in Salvador. Breakfast buffet is great - both variety and taste. It is also very special to stay at a property with such rich history - there is memorabilia all around the hotel. The staff - 100 out of 10, very friendly and helpful employees. I had a late night flight and had to stay at the hotel all day after my checkout, I was very well taken care of and truly felt welcome. Also definitely recommend the massage, great value and very thorough.

Set in a restored and enlarged antique 19th century residence, Hotel Catharina Paraguaçu offers rooms with air conditioning and cable TV. Rio Vermelho Beach is only a 10-minute walk away. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, although we don't speak Portuguese. The colonial building and furnishings were elegant. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. The location in Rio Vermilho was tranquil although just a block from bars, restaurants, and the coast. Great place to relax at the end of the day!
