The apartment that we got was completely new. The kitchen was in a very good condition, toilet and shower looks very clean and new, and we loved everything about this place. The stuff was very nice also, very polite and helpful. Great value for price.

Daily continental breakfast is served free of charge. everything about this place was perfect- I could not have asked for more. the location is on a high hill with incredible views. the beautiful family that owns it is so welcoming and warm, and they clearly take pride in this wonderful family business that has been there for 40 years. I stayed in the chalet which is a beautiful Brazilian style home on the hill with beautiful balconies and a sea breeze. you can see nature and town and it is peaceful and private but the owners are nearby if you need anything. I had such an amazing rest here and loved going out for the day and equally loved coming home! you must climb a good bit of stairs to get to the property but it is a lovely and meditative little walk that I genuinely looked forward too! the pool is astonishingly gorgeous as well- overlooking the mountains and sea. I cannot wait to return thank you Tanya and Jose!!!

We had the pleasure of spending almost a month at Pousada Aquarela in Morro de São Paulo, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Our room was a cozy studio with a small kitchenette, which was more than enough for our needs and made everything super convenient. The location is magical—surrounded by nature, with birds, trees, flowers and even the occasional monkey. It’s incredibly peaceful and close to a secluded beach where you can walk to Gamboa at low tide. That beach is perfect for a quiet swim, with no noise or crowds and even some coral to explore. But what really makes Pousada Aquarela special is the family who runs it. They’re originally from Argentina, and they truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. In the mornings, they serve a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, granola, and homemade yogurt—everything natural and delicious. In the evenings, the place transforms into a cozy Argentinian bar with artisanal beer, freshly made empanadas, pizzas, and sometimes even live music from a small band. It all creates a warm, friendly atmosphere where you feel like you're among friends. All in all, it’s a place that feels like home, and I can’t recommend Pousada Aquarela enough for a peaceful, welcoming stay in Morro de São Paulo.

With a modern concept and design, featuring the most complete and sophisticated structure in Morro de São Paulo. The staff was great, friendly, and helpful! Breakfast was great! There were many options, and fresh fruits, juices, pao de queijo, and homemade cakes were delicious daily! The pool was the prettiest and with the loveliest view! The room was comfy, and the AC was perfect! The hotel and room were clean! The location is at beach one which is closer to all shops and restaurants and not as much people at the beach since it’s smaller. We loved it!
