Opened in January 2013, Hotel Mercure Fribourg Centre Remparts is located next to the ancient city wall of Fribourg, a 10-minute walk from the historic centre of Fribourg and the Cathedral. I liked everything. I was surprised that haven’t heard a sound despite the room was next to elevator. Nice view, parking, friendly stuff.

De Ville is a charming hotel situated in a picturesque medieval village with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It features free Wi-Fi and fine dining with renowned regional specialities.... Super helpful and kind staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported with our every request. Check-in and out was super easy (in the restaurant - there's no front desk), we actually were able to check-out and pay online with a link they'd sent once we arrived. Clean and comfortable room (ours even had a mini-fridge) in beautiful historic hotel in fantastic location in the heart of Gruyeres village. 2 min walk to castle and museums. Restaurant looked (and smelled!) wonderful though we didn't have time to dine there. Would absolutely stay again! Merci beaucoup to the whole team!
