The whole vibe, the friendly and helpful staff; literally everything! The place it's magical, and it seems like it came out from a book or a movie. Bed are comfy and room had a lovely view on the square with the lovely fountain. There's a real fireplace in the tea room. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Opened in January 2013, Hotel Mercure Fribourg Centre Remparts is located next to the ancient city wall of Fribourg, a 10-minute walk from the historic centre of Fribourg and the Cathedral. Great room - clean and comfortable. Good location close to the old city. Excellent breakfast. Also possible to get a decent lunch / dinner. Fast WiFi for working efficiently.

The location is great. The room was big and spacious. The staff at the check-in was very friendly. We will stay here again!

We got a very warm welcome from Audrey who was exceptionally pleasant and informative and really set the tone for the rest of our visit.She checked in with us later in the day to see if we needed anything and was genuinely interested to make sure we enjoyed our stay.Thanks Audrey

We have stayed here before and all that mattered was the VIEW! Charming room , very nice staff, lovely breakfast and the perfect village. You can go wrong for the location and convenience. They even offer discounts at their restaurants and gift store inside the village. So nice and the Christmas Market was great!
