La Fleur de Lys is housed in a 350 year-old building right in the centre of the medieval town of Gruyère, 400 metres from Gruyère Castle, the Giger Museum and the Tibet Museum. Everything! The whole vibe, the friendly and helpful staff; literally everything! The place it's magical, and it seems like it came out from a book or a movie. Bed are comfy and room had a lovely view on the square with the lovely fountain. There's a real fireplace in the tea room. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Opened in January 2013, Hotel Mercure Fribourg Centre Remparts is located next to the ancient city wall of Fribourg, a 10-minute walk from the historic centre of Fribourg and the Cathedral. Great room - clean and comfortable. Good location close to the old city. Excellent breakfast. Also possible to get a decent lunch / dinner. Fast WiFi for working efficiently.
