Set in the very heart of the scenic village of Balsthal, Hotel Balsthal is conveniently located 3 km from the A1 motorway. Simple yet modern and clean hotel room with river view. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast and coffee. There is a good restaurant in the hotel. Staff was attentive and friendly. It was a great stay and we will come back.

Great breakfast and a good quality 24hr drinks machine in the lobby with “proper” coffee, hot chocolate, tea etc. Lovely, friendly staff. Correct and faultless.
