I took a bus from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas, which included a ferry crossing through the Strait of Magellan. That day the wind was extremely strong, and we were forced to wait at the ferry terminal for 7–8 hours. As a result, I didn’t arrive at the hotel until around 3 a.m. During that time, the young receptionist stayed in touch with me via WhatsApp, which made me feel very safe and reassured. She even waited at the front desk until I arrived. The next morning I overslept a little, but they kindly saved breakfast for me. The room was very warm and cozy, and when I opened the window there was a small courtyard outside, which was lovely. This was my very first night in Chile, and it left me with such a positive impression of the country and its people.

The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.

Clean room, bed linen and i had a early morning check out. The reception staff offered me a packed breakfast, so nice of them. Toilets were cleaned and had a good hot water flow 24 /7.
