Located in Regensburg, Green Spirit Hotel has a garden and a terrace. The property is around 3.6 km from Cathedral Regensburg, less than 1 km from Stadtamhof and 1 km from Old Stone Bridge. Large, clean apartment, way bigger than expected from a hotel room. The location is not very central but the walk to the old town is very scenic as it crosses the historic bridge across Danube. It has a dedicated parking garage, which is nice.

Situated in the city centre, 400 metres from Nuremberg's Old Town, Melter Hotel & Apartments - a Neighborhood Hotel boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. It was clean, big rooms and extremely convenient location. It was also very easy to find and an extremely easy walk from the train station.

The Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden is a luxurious lifestyle retreat nestled in Berchtesgaden amidst the idyllic Bavarian Alps, offering breathtaking mountain views. Everything was on high level. The staff is very responsive, the service is top notch. SPA personal are very kind and professional.

This guest house is set in Oberding in quiet Bavarian countryside, a 5-minute drive from Munich Airport. The Brandmayerhof provides free parking and great access to the A9 and A92 motorways. A very nice hotel with modern, clean rooms which are very spacious. Comfortable beds. Awesome breakfast with a lot of choices. Convenient location near the airport. It seems like a good hotel when staying with kids, it's a pity we've had just one night here.

Supermarket downstairs made for easy breakfasts, that set us up for the day. A short walk to shops and restaurants and easy access to public transport for trips into The heart of Munich. Secure parking available as well for our hire car.

This unique hotel is a historic 300-year-old former prison built into the historic wall in Amberg, just 350 metres from the town hall square. Hotel Fronfeste takes the prison theme to the extreme, in the best possible way. They even have a "prison escape" adventure that other guests participated (we did not), in which they wore striped uniforms, that made the whole experience feel more lighthearted and fun. On a more serious side, I work in corrections in the US, and it was interesting to me to see the structure and construction of this authentic medieval prison. The staff was very, very friendly and super helpful and nice. (If you are the type who would not like to have casual, personal conversation with the staff, this may not be the place for you.)

Set in a historic building that was a hotel for emperors in former centuries, Hotel Goldenes Kreuz is centrally located in Regensburg. WiFi access and private parking are available for an extra... Well, we expected this hotel to be good ! It wasn't good... it was really really great. From the moment we arrived, we felt I to was going to be special and we were right.  Our host, Christina, brought us to our room (a Deluxe Queen Suite) and we loved it straight away. It had everything and more than we expected. It overlooked the Haidplaz so we had a prime view on all the activity going on below... but the windows were so good, we could shut out the noise if and when we wanted.  The large bed was superbly comfortable. The room was also large so we had lots of space. The bathroom was a perfect size and everything was spotlessly clean. The cooking area was well equipped and very functional.  Breakfast was wonderful... A great choice of food, in lovely surroundings... a super way to start the day. Christina was so welcoming & lovely and she gave us great background to the hotel's history, the oldest part of which dates back to 1230, and its links to famous people through the ages. The other staff that we met were very pleasant & smiley and so helpful.  The location of the hotel is perfect and all the sights are within easy walking distance... as is the train station. There is also two free bus routes (A & B) that pass by the hotel to take you around the city, if you want them.  The tourist office has a free app that gives you a marvelous walking tour of the city. Regensburg is a special gem - very beautiful - not too big and not too small. Our top picks are the Bavarian Historical Museum, closely followed by the Thurn und Taxis Palace.. both are simply brilliant but in very different ways. There are tons of bars and restaurants within easy reach of the hotel. We would highly recommend a stay in Hotel Goldnes Kreus.
