We recently stayed at this charming hotel during a short trip from Barcelona to France/Germany to visit the Christmas Fair in the region, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and well designed. We brought our small dog with us, and we were delighted to find a separate little foyer where he could rest comfortably without invading the bedroom. It made our stay so much more pleasant. The bedroom itself was cozy and warm, with a beautiful view of the forest right in front of the hotel: absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was one of the biggest surprises. It was well curated, offering continental and non-continental options, all fresh and delicious. The owner, a lovely lady, personally came to each table to ask if we would like an egg prepared to our preference, which she cooked herself; my daughter loved it. The location couldn’t have been better. The hotel is right beside Gengenbach, a place we discovered entirely by accident, and it turned out to be magical. We were happy to walk into a beautiful Christmas fair with great food and fantastic local restaurants. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Schwarzwaldgasthaus Salenhof, Titisee-Neustadt'ın en yüksek bölümü olan Schwärzenbach'ta çok sakin bir konuma sahiptir. We messed up on our reservation and the owner was SUPER accommodating - above and beyond. Our rooms were super comfortable and both had a balcony with a great view. Outside of town, so super quiet and you can hike the Black Forest directly from the hotel and still have a close drive to Feldberg, Titisee, Triberg, etc. Breakfast was a standard German buffet and everything was excellent. We were surprised to arrive at the hotel in the evening and see lots of local cars in the parking lot, but realized it was for the great dinner. Inexpensive and fantastic!
