Located between the lakes Nørresø and Søndersø, this hotel is 400 metres from Maribo Train Station. Guests can relax on the terrace which offers views of the water and surrounding parkland. Lake view, terrace, good food, free treats, comfortable bed, huge bathroom.

Located on Torvet Square in central Sakskøbing, this hotel is housed in a building from 1827. It provides free WiFi, an in-house restaurant and individually decorated rooms. I stayed at Hotel Saxkjøbing for a night and was genuinely impressed. The building itself is beautiful, full of history and atmosphere, with lovely old details that make it feel very special. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s not a luxury hotel, but everything feels genuine. The restaurant is definitely worth visiting for dinner too. The food is simple but beautifully prepared and based on local ingredients I've been told. Overall, this was one of the most pleasant and authentic hotel experiences I’ve had in Denmark. If you enjoy historical buildings, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere, Hotel Saxkjøbing is absolutely worth a visit.
