Offering complete, secure luxury accommodation, 1 km from San Marino Shopping Center and the down town district, the Hilton Colon offers spacious rooms with LCD TVs, a pool, 5 restaurants and 2 bars. My experience at the Hilton was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, greeting my family warmly and happily accommodating my ESA pet. A friendly tip: make sure to bring your documentation, as they do not charge for ESA pets with the proper paperwork. We were celebrating my mom's birthday, and the staff went above and beyond by helping us coordinate a surprise cake in our room, which made the occasion even more special. They also welcomed us with a complimentary drinks per person, which was such a thoughtful touch. The brunch offered a great variety of food choices, making it a delightful start to our morning. While we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant this time, we’re definitely looking forward to exploring it on our next visit. The added presence of security at the entrance also gave us a sense of safety throughout our stay. The spa and gym facilities were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. I wholeheartedly recommend booking this Hilton for a longer stay or even a staycation.

Hotel Palace is located in downtown Guayaquil, just 10 minutes’ drive from José Joaquin de Olmedo Airport. It features modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant, and a fitness centre. I really enjoyed my stay at the Palace Hotel Guayaquil and can highly recommend it. It’s fresh and clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s not noisy even though it’s located downtown. The breakfast is good. The restaurant also has a good reputation in the city, especially for its special lemonade. I’d say the hotel deserves the name “Palace” not because of its interior, but because of the people who work there. Someone is doing a wonderful job hiring and training the staff. Everyone is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. 5+ for service. Special thanks to Christian, who was extremely responsive and helped me organize my trip. The hotel has an excellent location: a multi-story shopping mall is just across the street, and there is a large supermarket on the corner as well. Guayaquil is one of the best places in Ecuador for shopping—the balance of prices and quality is amazing compared to the USA, Europe, and Russia.
