Hotel Sophia is located in an upcoming neighborhood where the Tartu University of Science and Technology, as well as hospital are within a short walk away. Best thing is that it's connected straight to the big shopping mall, you can leave your winter clothes to the hotel when you want to go shopping. And oh boy there were outlets everywhere, i think there were 11 sockets all together which is very rare in hotels.

V Spa & Conference Hotel offers accommodation in Tartu. The hotel has a spa centre and hot spring bath, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Free WiFi is featured. The room was very clean and the hotel location was very convenient. All the important shops and restaurants were just steps away from the hotel room. The breakfast was excellent with variety of choices. The hotel was located close to all the main attractions.

Tampere Maja offers accommodation in an 18th century wooden house in the heart of the Old Town of Tartu. There is a cultural club in the cellar, showing exhibitions of Estonian and Finnish art. Very comfortable and cute place to stay. The styling of the room makes it quite cosy. The location is in the middle of old town of Tartu. Open access kitchen was useful!

The Antonius is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Tartu, directly opposite the main building of Tartu university. Tartu Town hall is 170 metres away. Everything! As I told Reception on my way out this morning after three absolutely delightful nights there, this was not a *five*-star hotel, but rather a *seven*-star one! As soon as we arrived, we were given a super-upgrade to a large room, lavishly decorated with drapes and period-piece furniture fit for royalty. I actually had to go back to Reception for confirmation that they had indeed assigned us to the right room! In addition, the breakfast buffet was outstanding on each of the three days of our stay. I can single out the croissants, apple strudel, cheesecake, variety of jams, and fruit salad as particularly excellent items. I reckon this hotel must have hired a pastry chef par excellence to achieve the level of culinary satisfaction that we experienced. Moreover, the staff at Reception were invariably friendly, courteous, cheerful and helpful. I would like to identify one of the staff in particular, Vanessa, who was always willing to go the extra mile to answer our questions about sites of interest. She even ventured out into the cold one day to point us in the right direction for the Botanical Gardens. If ever we visit Tartu again someday, I would choose the Hotel Antonius in a heartbeat. Kudos to the hotel staff for making this such a memorable three days!

Nina Kordon Guesthouse is situated by Lake Peipsi in a quiet, calm area and offers warmly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi and a view of the lake. Wonderful guesthouse located in a small village right on the lake. Very easy to get to. Plenty of attractions in the area. The owner is a great lady. She is friendly, helped us with the suggestions on the local sightseeing, speaks several languages. The breakfast is great. There is an open bar at the house, you can take if you need anything and pay later. You can play pool (billiards) and other games. The house is very safe, clean and comfortable.

Fantastic and nicely renovated romantic place. Very frienldly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Early arrival was no problem. Nice walk around in the museum and basement. Great breakfast and dinner. Especially the sommelier made our stay unforgettsble. Thanks again!
