Situated on the beachfront in Aswan, Baba Dool has a private beach area and is close to Kitchener's Island. The property has sea and mountain views, and is 24 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. Very quiet place with very nice views of the western bank of the nile. It is a nubian house in a nubian village, 5 minutes walking from the ferry to Aswan. There are ferries every few minutes from early morning until late at night. The lady of the house is very nice, she told us things about the nubian culture and made very nice breakfast for us. I would totally recommend this place.

Located in the Nubian Desert on the banks of the Nile, opposite Elephantine Island, Sofitel Legend Old Cataract offers elegant rooms and suites. It features outdoor and indoor pools. Everything! Location, history, fabulous rooms, great pool, nice spa, and staff went beyond their duties in helpfulness and kindness, especially Fariouz in reception. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and other dining options as well. Best hotel I have ever stayed in. 😀

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Stunning, serene location. We got river view rooms, which added to the overall experience. The staff (particularly restaurant and house keeping - Noura) were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Early check in was arranged without any hassle, and the management was very understanding when our departure got delayed by several hours, and we were able to stay on and use the facilities at no extra cost. Also very friendly with the children.
