Jose the manager was just excellent. Our check in experience & all of his local knowledge & recommendations made our trip! He also went out of his way to help us get tickets to the Alhambra with short notice. The hotel is fantastic value for money, centrally located, clean & bright. Will return - thank you Jose!

Hotel Rural de Poqueira is located in Capileira, in the heart of Sierra Nevada National Park, which has been declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. The relaxed atmosphere...staff were so welcoming 😀.... breakfast was very good in the fact they have a member of staff cooking eggs ,bacon, sausage to order.... coffees good....set in a beautiful village with real Spanish people living there unlike friglianna above nerja that's been bought up by foreigners then renting out on Airbnb...
