Hotel Esther has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in La Virgen de la Vega. Among the various facilities of this property are a bar and ski storage space. This is one of those places, that you don't expect much of, and then you are truly mesmerized. Wonderful location, large parking, staff that is so helpful and friendly... And the restaurant... I had there one of the best meals ever (including breakfasts, which seemingly were simple, but mouthwateringly good). I can't recommend the place enough - if they don't have a free room, come for a coffee or dinner. You won't regret it!

Hotel el Cantón Rural has a terrace, restaurant and BBQ facilities in La Cuba. Featuring a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. This hotel is the best, we arrived very hot after a long day riding, the receptionist was so helpful and her partner could speak great English. The location is a little rural but that made it even better with great views. We had a set menu which you chose when checking in. 2 courses and a drink for 20 euros. We asked if we could eat outside so they made a table up for us. The meal was beautiful and so much food for 20 euros it was a real bargain and again the staff were absolutely brilliant. They asked what time we wanted breakfast and when we said we wanted to leave around 8 in the morning they came in early to provide us with coffee and orange juice. When we said we did not have time for breakfast they made us a pack up so we could have a pick nick later in the day. I cannot praise this hotel enough, it's a real gem.

The host was very friendly and was a mine of information about the local area. The hotel was beautifully decorated in a period style.
