Logis Hôtel du Cygne is located in the heart of Bracieux on the Loire Castles Route, 20 km from Blois, 8 km from Chambord and 10 km from Cheverny. I didn't expect such a good place. From the street, the hotel looks quite ordinary. From the courtyard, however, it's a low-rise complex with a very atmospheric atmosphere. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is large and has a shower. An additional advantage is the electric heater with electronic drying and rapid heating programs. The room doesn't have a refrigerator, as described, but there is a room with a refrigerator, where everyone has their own space – a very nice feature. Cold, hot, and sparkling water are available free of charge – there's a dispenser from which you can refill as needed. Plates, glasses, and cutlery are also provided if you want to make yourself something to eat. You can also order breakfast. Bikes are available for rent – both electric and classic. There's also a charging station for cars (AC). Of course, there's also a heated outdoor pool – it's not very large, but sufficient. The staff is very helpful and friendly – their dedication is evident. This place is highly recommended.

Le Manoir de Maucartier is located in Monnaie, 16 km from Tours. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Some rooms include a seating area for your convenience. After a little bit of adventure to find this glorious historic place, I received a very warm welcome from Tattou, an affectionate Shih Tzu, and once I had made my way to the door, from Pascal. As many others have commented, the place is glorious and the result of some 15 years of restoration. I enjoyed my attractive and well equipped room and a great private dinner cooked by Pascal, all at a very fair price. The Manoir is well situated for travellers ( like me) on the A10/A28 although your Satnav might struggle. Sadly I didn’t get to appreciate the garden ( mid January stay) although Pascal uses his produce to decorate the place: glorious Annabelle hydrangeas firmed the centrepiece of the arrangement in the stylish dining room. I also enjoyed Pascal’s knowledgeable wine choices.
