Located in Saubrigues and only 28 km from Dax Train Station, Le Moulin de Saubrigues provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. We enjoyed using the pool after a long trip to get there. The Moulin is located at the roadside, as was our bedroom, but with the shutters & windows closed we heard nothing from outside. It was more that we heard the couple who had the room above us moving around. Breakfast was delicious: Martine cooked a different type of cake and gave us different fruits each morning we were there.

Although I had seen pictures online, my jaw dropped when I saw the expansive view from our room and its terrace over the water. The scene was endlessly fascinating, as the light conditions changed, and people engaged in water activities like kayaking. Our hotel restaurant dinner was delicious and expertly served by Thomas. The owners are a lovely couple who enjoy interacting with their guests. They have put much thought and love into this charming and intimate hotel. The proximity to the ocean is another obvious plus.

Great stay on the rivers, in the middle off the town. The restaurant was a great experience. Parking easy. The room with the view to the rivers and town, great.
