Situated in Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, next to the banks of River Dart. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, garden and a bar. Lovely staff, great breakfast! Quiet atmosphere.

The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

This 18th-century hotel is set in the centre of South Molton. It mixes original character with modern comforts and has log fires, free Wi-Fi, free parking and en suite rooms with flat-screen TVs. Fabulous breakfast! Accommodating options for dinner especially when one comes without wheels so can only eat in town. Lovely room. A treat to have tea & coffee (plus biscuits) available at any time. Should I ever find myself returning to this area, I won't hesitate to stay here again.

The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel is a Grade II listed property nestled within unspoilt countryside and 5 minutes’ drive from a scenic coastal walk. The pub hotel is excellent, very comfortable, friendly staff and the food is very high quality at breakfast you need to be hungry.

Located in Tiverton and only 38 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, Bridge Guest House provides accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great location on the river and close to town centre, hosts lovely, good breakfast

Offering garden views, Little Orchard House is an accommodation located in Salcombe, 2.6 km from Salcombe North sands and 42 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse. Lovely place and Jo the owner is the nicest person, great place highly recommend

Channel Vista Guest House is set in Combe Martin, 14 km from Barnstaple. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. The host was friendly and offered suggestions for local activities. She also cooked a great breakfast.

The Smugglers Rest is set in Woolacombe, less than 1 km from Rockham Beach, 39 km from Lundy Island, as well as 39 km from Royal North Devon Golf Club. Beautiful accommodation. Lovely staff. Stunning rooms. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Would love to return in the future!

A recently renovated bed and breakfast in Moretonhampstead and within 21 km of Newton Abbot Racecourse, The Old Post House features a terrace, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. Very friendly, and accommodating to our dietary preferences for breakfast.
