Situated in Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, next to the banks of River Dart. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, garden and a bar. We love Northgate House, it is so peaceful and it really recharges the old batteries. The rooms are beautiful in a simple way and offers everything you could want or need, the staff in the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site which is very good and offers a good choice of menu including vegetarian options, the food is of high quality and presented very well, breakfast is also available and is very tasty.In short for us it is a hotel that offers everything and we love it so much we will be visiting twice next year and we are looking forward to it.

The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Traditionally furnished and very homely rooms in a quiet location. Very comfortable beds. Hosts extremely friendly, Pub traditional and highly recommended. We would stay there again!

This 18th-century hotel is set in the centre of South Molton. It mixes original character with modern comforts and has log fires, free Wi-Fi, free parking and en suite rooms with flat-screen TVs. Excellent value for money, fresh and comfortable decor, very good breakfast, calm atmosphere.

The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel is a Grade II listed property nestled within unspoilt countryside and 5 minutes’ drive from a scenic coastal walk. We were in the area for one night and were delighted to find this gem! We live in Germany so staying in a country pub/hotel is always a treat for us, and this did not disappoint. We have 2 little dogs who were very welcome in both the pub and the room (and were even given treats and a cheeky sausage by the wonderful staff!). Our check in was smooth and we were able to book a table for dinner with ease. The staff were all super attentive and engaging. The room was comfortable and was everything we needed - even if the bed was a tad small, it still provided us with a solid nights sleep. However, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this stay was the food!! It was EXCEPTIONAL! And this is not exceptional for a pub, it was exceptional compared to anything! The duck was genuinely one of the best cooked and tastiest we’ve ever had! We’ve already recommended it to people and we are seeing how we can visit again on our next visit. Whether you stay for a night or not, the food HAS to be tried! Book a table and thank us later!

The Mount Pleasant Hotel has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Sidmouth. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Very comfortable room, great breakfast included with our stay.

Channel Vista Guest House is set in Combe Martin, 14 km from Barnstaple. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. This guesthouse was a great choice for walking the Coast Path. The value for money was much better than typical, the owner was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, bed was comfy; what's not to like? Don't hesitate to book if it's available.
