Nastanitev Westgate Manor se nahaja v mestu Westgate in ponuja restavracijo, skupni salon, bar, vrt, teraso ter pogled na vrt. Beautiful house in a wonderful garden! We had a great stay overnight with an outstanding breakfast in the morning. We had a large room with a very comfortable bed. But the best part were the hosts... Kathryn and Stuart are lovely people, very welcoming and we had very nice and interesting chats with them. This made our stay even more special.

Within easy driving distance of Newcastle, Durham and Sunderland, the magnificent spectacle of Lumley Castle has dominated the County Durham landscape for over 630 years. Our second time at Lumley Castle and as before was very impressed with the service and facilities. The rooms were beautiful and clean and we loved the decor. We had a light dinner in the bar which was excellent. Breakfast was also amazing. Will definitely recommend it.

Nestled within 24 acres of tranquil parkland, just 10 miles from the historic city of Durham, Beamish Hall Hotel is a magnificent 13th-century country house, meticulously restored to its original... We liked the way the staff were very friendly. The place was clean even though they were doing renovations. Restaurant and Bar staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to chat when not busy. The breakfast was really nice. Lots of choice and very well prepared. Tasted delicious.The Receptionist on the evening we arrived gave us some history of the Hotel which was interesting. We will be going back to stay as it is also a good base for the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Kingslodge Inn - The Inn Collection Group offers a cosy bar, a restaurant and easy access to Durham city centre. There is free parking on-site. Excellent food! The breakfast was varied and nourishing, and food was served all day. We ate there several times and were always impressed. The location was fine, between two parks and a short walk from the city centre. Special thanks to the member of staff who helped us with our taxi problem!
