Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. We (a family with two teenagers) had an excellent stay. The hotel is located in the old town but set back just a few dozen meters from the restaurants, ensuring peace and quiet. The two-bedroom suite is very well designed, tastefully decorated, with comfortable bedding and an excellent bathroom. Very good Wi-Fi. Pleasant terrace (even though ours did not have a sea view). The breakfast is fabulous – compliments to the chef!

There was a huge selection of vegetables, pasta, salads and desserts. The morning breakfast items had huge selection. Totally impressed with Amalia hospitality. Enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very close to the main Archeological sites and museum.
