Aristi Mountain Resort sits on the highest point of Aristi village, offering views over the Vikos Gorge and the Towers of Papigo. The view to the small and big papingo and the vikos villages, which twinkled like stars in the night; the stone houses of the hotel; the extremely helpful staff of the restaurant who even packed breakfast for those of us who left too early gor a hike; the closeness to the beautiful voidomatis river and the activities offered in the area.

I booked for one night and then extended for a other one with the owner. Everything perfect. The hike to the mountain starts from this village.

The stone Avragonio is located 300 metres from Papigo Village centre. Built according to the local, traditional architecture, it features accommodation with fireplace and Tymfi Mountain views. The view from our room was absolutely exquisite. The location was close to the Vikos Gorge for anyone who is interested in hiking. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay long enough to truly enjoy all that the accommodation had to offer. The breakfast was healthy, plentiful and with a lot of choice. We would 100% return to this absolutely stunning accommodation in this unbelievably beautiful area

This was my first stay at Aithrio, and it can only be described as the perfect 3-day holiday. The room was exactly like the pictures. It was super comfortable, warm and really clean with a lovely fireplace. The best part was our wonderful host, Olga that went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She had a ton of information on what activities to do in the area was really friendly and inviting. And the breakfast she makes every morning set us up perfectly for a long day of exploring Zagoroxoria.

Located in the scenic Mikro Papigko village in the area of Zagoria, the traditionally built Papigo Towers consists of 2 building, one of which is dated from the early 19th century. Very nice we would stay again

Set on the outskirts of Megalo Papigo village, Papaevangelou Hotel is a traditionally built property offering warmly decorated rooms with wooden floors and ceilings. Exceptional! Perfect location with amazing views! Very peaceful and quiet place! Amazing hosts and very good homemade breakfast! The room is so detailed beautiful and functional that makes your trip experience even better! Highly recommend!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay in an authentically restored 17th century residence. The rooms were beautifully presented & very comfortable. George was very welcoming & hospitable not only providing delicious home baked breakfast & wine from his vineyard but also great advice to the many walks & sights of the Zagori region. We had a very enjoyable stay & look forward to returning soon. A destination highly recommended.

Hotel Machalas is a large complex of apartments. It is located in Kipoi village which is in central Zagori. The complex’s traditional architecture is based on wood and hand-hewn stone. - very clean -very friendly staff - allows pets - very nice local breakfast - superb facilities
