We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Peaceful and tucked away, this is a wonderful place to call home for a week or more! The cabins have a forest or waterfront location, with a terrace and hammock to call your own. There’s A/C, hot water, and fast WiFi. The dining area is beautifully set on the water, with snorkelling available directly out front. The food is excellent, but it’s the staff who really shine: Annie, Teatree, and Boy really went that extra mile to make our stay perfect! I would love to come back.

Personál velice milý a ochotný - zajistí co budete potřebovat od taxíku, skútru až po lítky na lodní dopravu. Economy pokoje trochu stísněné, ale na přespaní dostačující a navíc mají teplou srpchu. Navíc na pokoji barel s vodou, varná konvice, lednice s kávou a čajem a dokonce deosprej a i sprej proti komárům.

Junia Guesthouse Bukit Lawang se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a má kola zdarma, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Ubytování nabízí bar a restauraci, která podává jídla asijské kuchyně. Great service from airport pickup to drop off 3 days later. The guesthouse has so much character with jungle theme decor. Andre was a fantastic guide who took us on the one day jungle trek where we saw orangutans, gibbons, and monkeys. His English is brilliant - he was able to tell us so much about the animals. We were grateful they cooked us dinner in the restaurant when we arrived late after 10pm. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge!! Well worth the long journey from Medan
