Grand City Hall Hotel & Serviced Residences is situated in the heart of Medan. It is next door to the Bank Indonesia Complex. Place is very convenient, easy to ascess everywhere. There is car free day every sunday and it was fun to join. Room were nice and clean.

Das Romlan ist eine sehr gemütliche Unterkunft in TukTuk. Der Blick direkt auf den See und die zentrale Lage sind super! In der Unterkunft kann man Roller leihen, Kajaks leihen, Touren buchen und auch beim weitertransport wird einem geholfen. Es gibt ein Restaurant, indem man den ganzen tag sowohl westliche als auch indonesische Speisen essen kann. Besonders toll ist die große vegane Auswahl! Es gibt vegane Pancakes, Porridge und hafermilch im Kaffee, außerdem leckeren Tempe und Tofu! Sehr empfehlenswert, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Die Unterkunft Laster Jony's, die in Tuk Tuk gelegen ist, verfügt über einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge, eine Terrasse und kostenloses WLAN. Everything. It was a rugged location with the lake and sunset at your doorstep. You can wake up to the sound of the waves and it was quite peaceful. But perhaps the best thing about them is the hospitality, and their FOOD. I tried various different restaurants from my stay at Tuktuk and nothing came close to the food made by Hamlet and Rita at Laster Jony's. It felt like coming back home from a long day of travelling. Definitely try their veggie and cheese omelette, fried rice, and mixed fruit pancake 😍.

Everything was great. The room was very clean, the bed is comfy, the lake view from the balcony was incredible! The host is extremely friendly and always ready to help with anything. They even provide scooters for the rent (cheaper than other places)

We loved our stay at Freddie's! We came here on our honeymoon, and it was amazing. We got in earlier than check-in time and planned on hanging out at the restaurant until check-in time. While eating (the delicious food and coffee), Freddie came up to us and congratulated us and told us he would get us into our villa early and even invited us into his private residence to wait comfortably (which is gorgeous). The villa itself was beautiful and right on the beach. There is a mini mart on the premises that has everything you might need. While staying at the villa, you can order food and get it delivered, and it's still hot! We received a delicious breakfast every day. The staff are absolutely awesome. My husband made good friends with them, and we were invited to a BBQ and other activities with them, where they showed us the local culture and food. The beach is perfect for snorkeling! There is so much beautiful sea life right outside the villa. We rented a motorbike and drove around the island to explore outside of the villa as well. Freddie helped us set up a taxi to get back to the port and was up bright and early with us to wish us goodbye. Highly recommend staying here! :)
