I enjoyed the comfortable bed and spacious room, the lovely swimming pool and the amazing gardens. Food is also delicious, so definitely worth staying for a meal or two!

Grand City Hall Hotel & Serviced Residences is situated in the heart of Medan. It is next door to the Bank Indonesia Complex. Facilities and room very nice, breakfast really good. Perfect location.

We originally planned to stay at Laster Jony’s for one week, but ended up staying two full weeks – and honestly, we could have stayed even longer. This place truly stole our hearts. The owners are the kindest, warmest people, and they even speak a little Finnish, which made us feel instantly at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful, and full of good vibes. The location is absolutely stunning: you can step straight from your room into the beautiful waters of Lake Toba. Swimming is recommended for ultimate relaxation. Their upstairs restaurant serves amazing, diverse, and delicious food, and we found ourselves eating there almost daily. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for backpackers, with everything you need for a longer stay. And then there is Kitty, their adorable cat – quite possibly the sweetest cat in the world. She slept next to us at night and joined us for daytime naps, filling the days with extra joy. Please give her lots of love and treats 🐾 Thank you for everything, dear friends. Kiitos kaverit! 💛 We will carry this place in our hearts and hope to return one day.

Com vista da montanha, Pele's Place localiza-se em Sabang e possui um restaurante, serviço de quartos, bar, jardim, terraço e parque infantil. Peaceful and tucked away, this is a wonderful place to call home for a week or more! The cabins have a forest or waterfront location, with a terrace and hammock to call your own. There’s A/C, hot water, and fast WiFi. The dining area is beautifully set on the water, with snorkelling available directly out front. The food is excellent, but it’s the staff who really shine: Annie, Teatree, and Boy really went that extra mile to make our stay perfect! I would love to come back.

The manager was very friendly and so helpful when we had to adjust our travel plans. Thanks! We also hired a scooter here which was the best way to get around.

Freddies Santai Sumurtiga localiza-se em Sabang, a alguns passos de Praia de Sumur Tiga, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, uma área de praia privada e um terraço. We stayed for 2 nights in the newly built building so the rooms were clean and comfortable. Although it’s not an oceam view room, you can still see the ocean from the window. Staffs were polite, friendly and helpful. The seawalk bridge towards the beach was beautiful. Definitely will stay here again for the next visit.

Junia Guesthouse Bukit Lawang tem bicicletas gratuitas, jardim, um salão partilhado e terraço em Bukit Lawang. O alojamento tem um bar e um restaurante que serve cozinha asiático. Loved the location, garden and restaurant. Our rooms had beautiful views over the river and village. Ideal location for jungle treks which we also organised through Junia. Our guides for the half day trek Nuu and Dika (excuse the spelling!) were so knowledgeable, kids and us loved spotting an orangutan, various monkeys, monitor lizard, geckos and learning about different plants. Totally recommend doing the tubing - so much fun down the rapids! Room wasn’t the cleanest but this is the jungle so we expected that. Totally would stay again and recommend to others.
