In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. This is a quality country setting hotel. Spa Facilities were excellent. It was relaxing . Rooms were very good. We had adjoining rooms which was fun. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was excellent . The bar grill menu was small only one family member had a bad meal .

Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Dungimmon House is set in Ballyconnell, 7.4 km from Drumlane Abbey, 16 km from Ballyhaise College, as well as 20 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre. We absolutely loved our stay. John and Grainne are the sweetest people and very accommodating, nothing was too big of an ask. They really made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. The whole place has this cozy, countryside vibe, stunning vintage furniture and decor, you feel comfortable as soon as you enter the premises. The room was spacious enough with a huge, comfy bed and a private bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there is a great system in place where you choose your warm breakfast and time you want to have it a day in advance, so when you get to the dining room, everything is ready! There is a selection of cold choices, like fruit, yoghurts, soda bread, jams and cereal as well. We tried quite a few things from the menu during our three night stay and I couldn't pick a favourite. The tomato relish that came with my poached eggs was exquisite.

This stylish, refurbished 18th-century house is 1 mile outside Cootehill town and has the peaceful Eden Spa, and luxurious bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. Christina greater us at the front desk and was wonderful and helpful throughout our stay! The gluten free fish and chips and onion rings were amazing!
