It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

The Cabra Castle Hotel was built in 1760 and has high ceilings, grand staircases and historic hallways. Dinner was fab, the room was stunning and the staff were friendly.

The Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has elegant, individually decorated rooms with stunning countryside views. They feature en suite bathrooms and include flat-screen LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi. Room had everything I needed just where I needed it. I loved the layout. It made staying there so easy, I didn't want to leave.

You can enjoy home-cooked dishes in the restaurant, which also serves a Sunday carvery and features a lakeside terrace. The Sailor’s Bar and Lakeside Bar offer a cosy setting for a drink, along with lovely views. We had a perfect one night stay on Valentines night. The complimentary bubbly & chocs were a lovely touch and as always the staff, the food, the whole experience was 10 out of 10. Can't wait to return☺️❤️

Errigal Country House is deep in the heart of Cavan's Lake Country, which is ideal for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. Christina greater us at the front desk and was wonderful and helpful throughout our stay! The gluten free fish and chips and onion rings were amazing!
