The whole setting was just delightful and the location is just superb. The staff were just amazing - they were friendly, respectful and did whatever they can to make our stay more enjoyable - including some Sefad touring tips and maps. Built into Acre's city walls, the Akkotel-Boutique Hotel is just 50 metres from the seafront. It features a roof terrace with Mediterranean-Sea and Old-City views, and rooms with vaulted ceilings. The hotel itself is a historic building and is actually part of the city walls. The interior is absolutely stunning, resembling a museum, and even the walls in the corridors are protected by glass. Our room had a charming and rustic ambiance, reminiscent of the interior of a castle, and it was quite spacious. The breakfast at the hotel was also plentiful. By taking the elevator to the 3rd floor, you can access the city walls, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay of Acre and the ancient city. The scenery is truly beautiful.
