Hotel Marina ligt op een steenworp afstand van het strand en biedt accommodatie in Monterosso al Mare, in nationaal park Cinque Terre. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Hotel La Spiaggia is on the Ligurian Sea coast, 10 metres from the beach. Offering a bar and a patio the hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Monterosso al Mare town centre. Perfect location for visiting the Cinque Terre and enjoying a beach swim at the end of the day. Close to train station, in front of beaches. It was perfection. The staff were amazing and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. The air conditioning was a welcome addition. We arrived by car and for a smallish daily fee, you can reserve a spot, leave your car safely tucked away and explore by train, boat and on foot. I would 100% recommend this place.

Hotel Margherita ligt op 250 meter van het strand in Monterosso al Mare en is een modern hotel met een rustige patio. Het plaatje klopte. Heerlijk buiten kunnen ontbijten en vriendelijk personeel. Goede douche. Jammer genoeg geen koffie of thee faciliteiten..

Hotel Villa Adriana ligt te midden van palmbomen, op slechts 100 meter van het strand Fegina. Het hotel biedt een Ligurisch restaurant, een zwembad en klassiek ingerichte kamers met een lcd-tv. Excellent place to sleep, and enjoy an unforgettable view from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff truly kind towards us. There is a pool, but bear in mind it will be cold unless you go in summer. One of the things we enjoyed the most was how close the hotel was to the beach, as long as it is not raining ;)

Albergo Suisse heeft een panoramisch uitzicht op de kustlijn van de Cinque Terre, en biedt op vaste tijden een gratis shuttleservice naar het 1 km verderop gelegen Monterrosso. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the location is truly incredible. The staff were extremely welcoming and even allowed us to check in earlier than expected, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights is the convenient shuttle bus that runs every hour, taking you down from the mountain and back up again – such a great service and a big plus for this place. The hotel itself is fantastic, and we enjoyed every moment. The only small thing – and it’s not really a minus – is that it would be amazing if the hotel had a swimming pool. With such stunning views, relaxing in a pool would be the ultimate experience. Overall, the hotel is amazing, everything was perfect, and we would love to come back again!

Marianna Quiet Rooms bevindt zich in Monterosso al Mare, op 3 minuten lopen van Strand van de Oude Stad van Monterosso, en biedt conciërgediensten, rookvrije kamers, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi... Located in the historical part of Monterosso a few minutes from the train station. The host is very kind and helpful, as soon as we arrived, told us everything we should know about the village and gave us suggestions of places to visit and how we should get there.

Marymar ligt in Monterosso al Mare, op 31 km van Castello San Giorgio en 31 km van Technical Naval Museum, en heeft gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Marymar ligt op een schitterende en centrale locatie, de kamers zijn perfect in orde en Odelys is een heel hulpvaardige gastvrouw. Als we ooit terugkomen naar Monterosso Al Mare, boeken we zeker en vast terug bij Marymar!

CREUZA DE 5 TERRE is gelegen in Volastra, op 18 km van Castello San Giorgio en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning, gratis WiFi, en toegang tot een terras. Perfect place to stay when you want a quiet place to come home to after exploring and hiking cinque terre.

La Gemma delle 5 Terre ligt in La Spezia en beschikt over kamers met gratis WiFi en airconditioning. These apartments are perfect for visiting the Cinque Terre area. Marina also recommended a great spot for breakfast on the main tourist street – affordable, delicious, with a pleasant atmosphere and outdoor seating.

Ook aandacht voor mooie en sfeervolle verlichting. Ligging perfect voor trein naar Cinque Terre. Goede instructies en souplesse ondanks late incheck. Een extra pluspunt en dikke dankjewel voor de na-service!! Ik vergat mijn gouden oorbellen van mijn moeder zaliger. Voor mij een emotionele waarde dus...Op eenvoudig verzoek werden ze naar mij thuis gestuurd met een prior-zending zodat ik ze binnen de week reeds terug had!!! Ongelooflijk dikke merci!
