Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Great location and charming accomodation and room. The onsens were some of the best I've ever used in Japan, the extra hot bath is especially great on a cold night. Staff were extremely helpful and showed me places worth visiting in Kusatsu. Would definitely stay again.

If I could give ten stars I would! Our stay was amazing! Everything from staff to location to food was great! You can’t beat the location within mountains next to a beautiful river! Onsen facilities were gorgeous! Staff all spoke English perfectly and were extremely thoughtful and kind! They even called me on our way there to make sure we can make it to the dinner!

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. The beds were extremely comfortable. The private baths were always open and available for use. The breakfasts were of decent size and very good. The owners/staff were helpful.

Just a 3-minute walk from the famous Yubatake Hot Spring, Kane Midori offers massage services and its own hot-spring baths. The Japanese rooms have futon beds and a Western bathroom. The staff was the most outstanding, polite staff I've ever had the plesaure to be treated with. This is what Japanese hospitality is like. I truly respect it. The rooms were big enough and very clean. The hotel in general was very well kept and the Japanese astethic was great. We also stayed in a private Onsen of the hotel for an additional charge, which was totally worth it. It was an outside Onsen and it was snowing - truly romantic. The price for value is excellent and the location is great too. Just a 3 minute walk to the city center.

Built in 1913, the Kusatsu Hotel exhibits the architectural style of the Japanese Taisho Era. First of all - it has great location! 5 minutes walk to all of the main attractions, it's surrounded by hills, but you don't need to go there :) The room was definitely renovated not a long time ago - it was exceptionally clean, very spacious, all the amenities were provided. The breakfast and dinner were very good for their price, and the duck I tried at the dinner was one of the best in my life. The onsen area is nice, there are 1 outdoor (technically 2, but it's more like having a wall separating one) and 1 indoor onsen. There are hairdryers, hairbrushes and water. There is no view as there is a wooden wall keeping your privacy, but you can see the sky and if the weather is great - there would be a lot of stars. Coffee terrace was the only bummer, actually, because even having the footbath onsen (which is nice), it overviews the parking lot :(

Hotel Route-Inn Isesaki Inter is situated in Isesaki, 8 km from Caribbean Beach Kiryu. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Nice and clean. Seems like relatively new facilities.

Kusatsu onsen Futabaya offers accommodation in Kusatsu. There is 1 paid public bath facility and 3 free public bath facilities within a minute's walk from the property, while Yubatake is also a... Perfect location, clean rooms, nice private onsens on the first floor. There's a cozy common space with tables and chairs, where you can have dinner by the fireplace. If you come here in winter - there are ACs and electric blankets to keep you warm at night. Everything was great about our stay.

Offering free WiFi, Ryokan Tamura offers accommodation in Kusatsu, 600 metres from Kusatsu Nettaiken and 2.1 km from Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort. I really loved the whole experience at Ryokan Tamura. I felt very relaxed and pampered since dinner and breakfast was served, and we loved using the onsen. We asked for vegan food, and they informed us that the broth may contain dashi, but for us that was ok. The food was delicious and we got to try some of the traditional Japanese cuisine consisting of mainly vegetables. There were men only and women only onsens, and two private onsens. The water was super warm and relaxing. The staff was also very welcoming and nice and spoke english.
