Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. The place was magical. The onsen is amazing, the room was traditional japaneese. While you don't have the luxury of a 4-5 star hotel, you don't really need it. The rooms are comfortable, sleeping in old japaneese fashion on a mattress on the floor is waaay more comfortable than expected (good for bad back). Big plus for the mixed ryokan, can join there with your partner. And the food was just super. Not to mention the staff, they were very nice. Highly recommend it!

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. All the staff are polite, helpful and always with a smile. Breakfast was tasty and like an art. Room was comfortable and clean. The 24-hour self service coffee and juice bar was a great bonus. Just wanted to say all good reviews by previous travelers are 100% accurate.

Hanya 3 menit berjalan kaki dari Pemandian Air Panas Yubatake yang terkenal, Kane Midori menawarkan layanan pijat dan pemandian air panas sendiri. The inn has a lot of charm. The onsen was really cosy, not too crowded (in January), and beautiful. The staff was warm and welcoming, and this feeling applies to the inn itself. Thank you again for having us!

Kusatsu onsen Futabaya offers accommodation in Kusatsu. There is 1 paid public bath facility and 3 free public bath facilities within a minute's walk from the property, while Yubatake is also a... Very helpfull staff, we left something in the room and they help us to send it tour next hotel.

Ryokan Tamura menawarkan akomodasi dengan Wi-Fi gratis di Kusatsu, 600 meter dari Kusatsu Nettaiken dan 2,1 km dari Resor Ski Kusatsu Kokusai. I really loved the whole experience at Ryokan Tamura. I felt very relaxed and pampered since dinner and breakfast was served, and we loved using the onsen. We asked for vegan food, and they informed us that the broth may contain dashi, but for us that was ok. The food was delicious and we got to try some of the traditional Japanese cuisine consisting of mainly vegetables. There were men only and women only onsens, and two private onsens. The water was super warm and relaxing. The staff was also very welcoming and nice and spoke english.

Very kind staff, buffet was delicious and great value, 5 min walk to the main onsen downtown area, Japanese style room was spacious and quiet, onsen was great too.
