Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Me & my husband stayed for one night in the twin room with private hot spring bath. This huge room was very beautiful and cozy, clean & well equipped with different amenities (tea, kettle, mini fridge, yukatas, large tv with a Super Nintendo etc.). Just as promised in the listing. It was so lovely to enjoy the private onsen in our room, nobody to disturb us and no rush. The wooden tub fits two people well, even when sitting side by side. The window above the tub can be opened, the view is to a parking lot/other hotel. We had access to the hotel’s three other private onsen baths aswell and could use them whenever they were free, but we liked to stick to the one in our room. The location is excellent, there are some convenience stores nearby & you can walk from the bus station in about 10 minutes to the hotel. There are also some restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Eidaya and would definitely love to come back sometime! It was such a wonderful little escape from bustling Tokyo.

Built in 1913, the Kusatsu Hotel exhibits the architectural style of the Japanese Taisho Era. First of all - it has great location! 5 minutes walk to all of the main attractions, it's surrounded by hills, but you don't need to go there :) The room was definitely renovated not a long time ago - it was exceptionally clean, very spacious, all the amenities were provided. The breakfast and dinner were very good for their price, and the duck I tried at the dinner was one of the best in my life. The onsen area is nice, there are 1 outdoor (technically 2, but it's more like having a wall separating one) and 1 indoor onsen. There are hairdryers, hairbrushes and water. There is no view as there is a wooden wall keeping your privacy, but you can see the sky and if the weather is great - there would be a lot of stars. Coffee terrace was the only bummer, actually, because even having the footbath onsen (which is nice), it overviews the parking lot :(

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Super friendly staff and delicious breakfast! I don't know if that is the case for everyone, but I got a different breakfast on the 2 mornings I was there. It's also super close to all the popular locations and the bus station.

Set in Shibukawa and only 46 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, Omori offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Honestly just typical onsen rauken only no special facility attract or make me unexpected

Just a 3-minute walk from the famous Yubatake Hot Spring, Kane Midori offers massage services and its own hot-spring baths. The Japanese rooms have futon beds and a Western bathroom. The hotel was clean. Staff were amazing people - treat them well and with respect and you'll get it back plus more. They treated us like gods which at times, was overwhelming. But we appreciated the level of service that they offered.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. Room was nice cozy, with calming view over river. Outside onsen was perfect, so was food, especially dinner. Staff was super helpful with scheduling my program, and buses to skiing resort.

Hotel Route-Inn Isesaki Inter is situated in Isesaki, 8 km from Caribbean Beach Kiryu. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. free parking, decent spacious public bath, average size room with table and small sofa, good temperature control

Kusatsu onsen Futabaya offers accommodation in Kusatsu. There is 1 paid public bath facility and 3 free public bath facilities within a minute's walk from the property, while Yubatake is also a... Very helpfull staff, we left something in the room and they help us to send it tour next hotel.

Set in Kusatsu, 46 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, Hotel Sakurai provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, an open-air bath and a garden. Very kind staff, buffet was delicious and great value, 5 min walk to the main onsen downtown area, Japanese style room was spacious and quiet, onsen was great too.
