Amazing amazing amazing staff they were extremely kind and helpful. Private onsen were available 24/7 with no time limit per use. Excellent place to stay in Kusatsu and I will definitely come back again to this facility

Built in 1913, the Kusatsu Hotel exhibits the architectural style of the Japanese Taisho Era. This hotel was amazing! The location was great, a little walk away from the town center, but beautifully maintained. I travelled with my family and we got the four person bedroom, it was super spacious and very comfortable! Breakfast and dinner were so luxurious and delicious and the wait staff were especially kind. Special thanks to Eto San for making our stay extra special by putting in the effort to learn Indonesian words and greeting us so cheerfully every day! The baths were also very nice—would recommend the outside baths in the women onsen especially when it snows cos it feels extra amazing! Overall, I loved staying here and I would 100% recommend it and return one day!

Just a 3-minute walk from the famous Yubatake Hot Spring, Kane Midori offers massage services and its own hot-spring baths. The Japanese rooms have futon beds and a Western bathroom. The hotel was clean. Staff were amazing people - treat them well and with respect and you'll get it back plus more. They treated us like gods which at times, was overwhelming. But we appreciated the level of service that they offered.
