Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Me & my husband stayed for one night in the twin room with private hot spring bath. This huge room was very beautiful and cozy, clean & well equipped with different amenities (tea, kettle, mini fridge, yukatas, large tv with a Super Nintendo etc.). Just as promised in the listing. It was so lovely to enjoy the private onsen in our room, nobody to disturb us and no rush. The wooden tub fits two people well, even when sitting side by side. The window above the tub can be opened, the view is to a parking lot/other hotel. We had access to the hotel’s three other private onsen baths aswell and could use them whenever they were free, but we liked to stick to the one in our room. The location is excellent, there are some convenience stores nearby & you can walk from the bus station in about 10 minutes to the hotel. There are also some restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Eidaya and would definitely love to come back sometime! It was such a wonderful little escape from bustling Tokyo.

Built in 1913, the Kusatsu Hotel exhibits the architectural style of the Japanese Taisho Era. Breakfast and dinner were great. Rooms were bigger than I expected. Baths are really great. Staff so friendly helpful.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Super friendly staff and delicious breakfast! I don't know if that is the case for everyone, but I got a different breakfast on the 2 mornings I was there. It's also super close to all the popular locations and the bus station.

Kane Midori ligt op slechts 3 minuten lopen van de beroemde warmwaterbron Yubatake en biedt massages en eigen warmwaterbronnen. De Japanse kamers hebben futonbedden en een westerse badkamer. Kanemidori is a beautiful ryokan just steps away from Yubatake and central Kusatsu. The room was enormous and absolutely stunning traditional tatami room. We got to enjoy new yukata designs each day of our trip, and the quiet and beautiful baths were almost always empty when we visited them. The staff didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate everything necessary. They even came to the car when we arrived and took our bags! It was a lovely and relaxing experience.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. We werden vanaf het station opgehaald (en de volgende dag weggebracht) met een shuttle. De kamer is enorm met een voor en achterkamertje. Het is een klassieke kamer met tatami mat en schuifdeuren. We hadden uitzicht op de rivier, er lag nog een pak sneeuw onder ons raam. De onsen buiten is geweldig, het is echt zo mooi als op de foto's op Booking. Het avond eten was heel divers en heerlijk. Het werd heel leuk opgediend in pannetjes met branders eronder. In je kamer heb je een eigen toilet en in de achterkamer een wastafel. In de nacht was het heerlijk stil en hoorden we alleen het ruisen van de rivier. In de ochtend kan je nog heerlijk genieten van de onsen. Het ontbijt was ook wel heel divers en met pannetjes en branders. Dit was echt 1 van de hoogtepunten van onze rondreis door Japan.

Hotel Route-Inn Isesaki Inter ligt in Isesaki, op 8 km van het Caribische strand Kiryu. U kunt van een maaltijd genieten in het eigen restaurant. Nice and clean. Seems like relatively new facilities.

Kusatsu onsen Futabaya offers accommodation in Kusatsu. There is 1 paid public bath facility and 3 free public bath facilities within a minute's walk from the property, while Yubatake is also a... Very helpfull staff, we left something in the room and they help us to send it tour next hotel.

All very organized. Terminal bus is really near but with the snow, the shuttle is really handy. Breakfast and dinner are amazing. Love everything. The onsen/ spring water was delicious, and what I was looking for, there was one open and you could see trees with snow! ⛄️
