Highly recommend the restaurant, service, food fabulous and make sure to have fruit gin and tonic. Comfortable beds, washing machines on site and a big deep bath for soaking after a day or twos bike riding. All staff amazing from the people at the front reception desk to the staff in the restaurant. Don’t miss this town and place on your next trip to Japan.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). - Service was extremely friendly and welcoming. Had a fun time exchanging travel sketchbooks with the receptionist and also getting to know Miku, the owner Juniya's cat (The name of the ryokan is a portmanteau of both of their names!). - Room is large and comfortable - Food was simple but delicious - Overall, the ryokan was clean and extremely relaxing to stay in

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Everything was fantastic - the rooms came with Yukatas, pajamas, vests, tea, water, a towel bag and one face wash set. The breakfast in the morning was unbelievable - that alone made the price well worth it, but add in the baths and lovely rooms & decor - just an unbelievable stay.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. It was absolutely incredibly beautiful and comfortable. The also accommodated my dietary preferences perfectly.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. I felt really comfortable at the hotel. The service was beyond my expectations. I will be coming back here!
