The hotel was just perfect for us, as we were doing the bike trip which started directly at the hotel. Breakfast and Dinner were superb. The service especially for the Backpacks were amazing.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Funcionários muito prestativos e receptivos, nos ajudaram com takkyubin apesar das nossas múltiplas dúvidas; café da manhã e jantar (curry) muito gostosos! Ficamos em uma casa separada do prédio principal, com um visual bem tradicional, dormimos em futons… muito agradável!

Localizado a apenas 5 minutos de carro do Porto de Balsas Miyajima, de onde parte um serviço de transfer gratuito, o Miyajima Seaside Hotel oferece uma bela vista do mar. This hotel is a great budget option for a ryokan experience! I paid much less than what is quoted at other places but it definitely felt like a luxury experience. The traditional Japanese room is huge! And the dinner plus breakfast were very delicious and extravagant. I struggled to finish the kaiseki dinner. The staff were so helpful and polite. They even brought all my luggage to the room from the ferry terminal. The shuttle makes everything very convenient as it is farther from the main sights. The onsen was clean and very comfortable.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Quarto excepcional (japonês superior) com vista soberba. Jantar japonês excelente. Pequeno almoço ótimo. Mas o mais relevante; apesar de estarmos atrasados e fora da hora, foram nos buscar á estação do ferry e serviram nos o jantar que tínhamos reservado. O nosso sincero obrigado por essa cortesia. Excelente serviço e orientado para o cliente.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei conta com bar e vista para a cidade em Onomichi. Templo Senkoji fica a poucos passos de distância. The property is located in a very cute and historic part of the town, it has a very authentic feel. The staff is very very friendly, there is also a bar, a kitchen, showers and a terrace. We were quite sad we only got to spend one night there, wish we could enjoy Onomichi and the Guest house a few days more!

Oyado Tsukiusagi fornece quartos em Miyajima. Momijidani Park fica a 13 minutos a pé de distância e The great Torii fica a 600 metros. The host is beyond welcoming, such a lovely person. Answered all my questions with a smile.

Localizado em frente ao Aquário de Miyajima, a 5 minutos a pé da saída do Santuário de Itsukushima, o Mizuhasou oferece acomodações com decoração moderna, mas tradicional. All the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty . I recommend it all.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. We stayed in the older part of the ryokan and it was spectacular. The rooms have beautiful views and the onsen is heavenly. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our meals were delicious and perfectly presented. We had a very romantic stay and enjoyed being on the island at night. Do yourself a favour and wear the yukata - it's the most comfortable clothing I've ever worn. We would love to come back!

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. My partner (now my wife) and I have always loved the view of the iconic torii gate in Miyajima. While looking for a highly rated hotel in the area, we came across ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA and decided it would be the perfect place to celebrate her birthday, and secretly, I was planning to propose to her on that special day. I initially reached out to the hotel just to ask if they offered any simple in-room proposal decorations. To my surprise, Haruka and Yuriko responded with so much enthusiasm and so many thoughtful ideas — from how to hide the ring box, to when they could prepare the room while we were out, to setting up a beautiful arrangement. On top of all that, they even upgraded our room as a surprise. It was all far more than I ever expected. A huge thank you to Haruka, Yuriko, and everyone at ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA. Your kindness, genuine warmth, and incredible attention to detail made this such an unforgettable experience for us. We’ll always remember how you helped us on one of the most important days of our lives — and we absolutely plan to come back. As for the hotel itself: the location couldn’t be better, just a short walk from Itsukushima Shrine. It means you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views both early in the morning and later at night. Our room was elegantly designed, with top-quality amenities and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. And the meals — dinner and breakfast — were as delicious as they were beautifully presented. This is the most memorable and enjoyable hotel stay I’ve ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA to anyone looking for a truly special, relaxing experience in Miyajima.
