We felt like we were being welcomed in by family! The inn was spacious, with many amenities including private onsens, ryokan meals that had plenty of variety and a huge quantity of food. Being in the room felt like you were transported back in time, having an authentic feel. The staff were genuinely kind and thoughtful, and were always available to perform a tea ceremony, tie our yukatas, take photos etc. There was a sense of pride in the ownership and running of the inn, as this was an 8 generation family home!

Traditional multi-course dinners, hot-spring baths overlooking old forests, and spacious Japanese rooms with nature views await guests at Negiya Ryofukaku. The facility was beautifully tended and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The private onsen was wonderful and our room was pristine. Located a 5-minute taxi ride from Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station, Kobe Minato Onsen Ren boasts a variety of hot spring baths, a year-round hot spring outdoor pool, an indoor swimming pool, a... The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

Nastanitev Kinosaki Onsen Kawaguchiya Honkan je v mestu Toyooka, 2,7 km od znamenitosti Kinumaki Shrine, in nudi brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. Very warm welcoming staff with excellent English and less formal ceremonies :) Room + balcony, I liked it. Futon beds were quite comfy :) Value for its price.

A 3-minute walk from JR Kinosaki-Onsen Station, Koyado Enn offers hot spring baths for private use, a café and a restaurant. Free WiFi is provided, and yukata robes are available at the reception. Really nice place, the rooms are classic japanese style, absolutely amazing! The staff was kind and the breakfast excellent.

Taketoritei Maruyama is a non-smoking Japanese-style accommodation featuring natural hot spring baths for private use and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. My stay at this Arima Onsen was absolutely exceptional. The staff were top-notch — attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to providing perfect service. They went above and beyond to ensure every need was taken care of and offered helpful information about both the property and the area.One of the highlights was the incredible selection of eight different onsens right on the premises, each offering a relaxing and unique experience. They also provide convenient rides to nearby restaurants and to and from the bus and train stations, which made exploring the area effortless.Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing, first-class onsen experience with outstanding hospitality.

Overlooking the beautiful Kobe Harbour, The ORIENT offers luxurious accommodation in the heart of the historic Kyu-Kyoryuchi area. My favourite hotel on my 3 week trip in Japan. Beautiful rooms and public spaces, excellent breakfast.

Located at the waterfront of Kobe Harborland, Hotel La Suite offers spacious rooms with ocean views and a spa bath. It features concierge service, a French restaurant and massage treatments. Everything was exceptional. Warm check-in, a beautiful room, and the best dinner of my trip at Teppanyaki Kokoro. Special thanks to the kind chef and helpful staff at check-out. Thank you all!

Onishiya Suisyouen offers beautiful hot-spring baths, a sauna and Japanese garden beside the Maruyama River. EVERYTHING !!! The hotel is very very clean. The Onsen inside the hotel is FANTASTIC !!! Very private and super comfortable. No need to visit the 7 public onsens at all (unless you wanted to try out and compare) The breakfast was so nice and a big spread of food. The staff, including the front desk personnel, the restaurant staff and the important driver. Best of the best staff around. Very polite and extremely thoughtful !! Very good hotel and definitely recommend to anyone who wanted to visit Kinosaki.
