The Hotel is located in excellent neighbourhood in Kanazawa, which can be accessed by public transport. Ambience and food is lovely, and so are people here. Happy hours are very enjoyable and the bar plays some excellent music. Good place to chill after a long day. You also have good vegan food joints nearby. Overall, had a great stay here.

Laundry is easy to access as well. Shuji san is very welcoming and helpful and went out of his way to help book a bus day trip and restaurants. Also located very well in close proximity to the Higashi Chaya district and easy access to the major attractions in Kanazawa. Beyond great value for the price. Absolutely recommend to any travellers.

The staff were lovely, they even carried our bags for us. The room has heating which was perfect as we visited in February. The futons were comfortable and the room was spacious. There was also a private bath you could use which was such a bonus. I recommend you stay here if visiting Kanazawa.

A 20-minute walk or an 8-minute drive from Kanazawa Station, KUMU 金沢 by THE SHARE HOTELS features free WiFi throughout the entire property. All rooms have a flat-screen TV. Beautiful minimalist hotel. Perfect combo of traditional (tatami mats) and modern (artisan cocktails at bar). The breakfast was delicious and the staff was great. Highly recommend.

Within my stays in Japan, this one exceeded my expectations the most. We were received by several employees who helped us with the bags and showed us around the hotel. They are super helpful and nice. At the time, it also had free shows on the main hub, and we got to watch a live piano performance. It is very well located, literally next to Kanazawa Castle. Additionally, it had an onsen and public baths, very clean and relaxing (and spoiler alert, free ice creams :) ) Perfect stay for resting, exploring the city, and enjoying a bath at an onsen.
