Cottage Type S, B,C rooms have a bathroom, while Cottage Type A has a shower room. Chapel/cottage and Cottage B & C have equiped with mini kitchen.Guests can sit out by the cottage terrace and relax. Everything was terrific. We had a cottage with a kitchen and twin beds. It was exceptionally comfortable and quiet. We slept great every night. Mr. Nakashima is super kind and gracious. We'd go back in a heartbeat. He recommended a fabulous restaurant two bus stops from the cottage. Do make reservations as they fill up p[retty quickly. Best fish you'll ever have and Yakushima beef sashimi!! The cottage was truly like a home away from home and felt totally private. It was a terrific added bonus to be able to do a couple loads of laundry.

Staff was amazing and hospitable. We selected the breakfast to be included and it exceeded our expectations. It made our experience!

Situated in Yakushima, within 8.4 km of Shiratani Unsuikyo and 36 km of Yakusugi Land, Wa no Cottage Sen-no-ie features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The 3-star guest house is less than 1 km from Scuba Diving Ever Blue Yakushima. The guest house has family rooms. We loved everything about this authentic and peaceful riverside property amidst the forest. We were welcomed warmly and shown around our tatami room, well furnished kitchen, and private cedar bath house. We made use of the free laundry facilities and riverside trail / communal picnic area. The property is located near a bus stop and walking distance to town (a car rental is recommended). Highlights included a cedar chopstick making workshop and bathing in the cedar bath tub looking out onto the forest. Falling asleep to the sound of the river and forest was also lovely.

Across the hotel is a high-end mall and convenience store. The room is spacious with windows that could be opened. Comfortable bed and yukata. Bathroom and toilet amply spaced with more than enough wash, shampoo, etc. Generous amenities. Thank you.
