Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, our waitress for our dinner was very fun to converse with, along with everyone else we spoke with. The dinner was very well made, the facilities were beautiful, and our rooms were everything we could’ve asked for. The location is also excellent in the middle of everything, allowing for an easy walk around Kurokawa.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. It was one of the best Ryokan experiences we had. It is such a hidden gem! The ryokan itself is extremely beautiful with a lot of greenery and old wooden architecture. Private Onsen had many varieties and it was easy to use. Our room also included a foot bath which was an added bonus. Dinner easily resembled a high end cuisine and their sake selection allowed us to taste some regional flavours. A shout out to their staff- incredibly talented, friendly and kind!

Boasting hot spring baths surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shinwaen provides charming Japanese-style accommodation, and lavish meals are served in guest rooms. This was a great ryokan at a good price! We really enjoyed our stay here, and the staff was very helpful. We even got welcome beans at check in. We had a big room with tatami mats and futons, and a low table with chairs. The room also had a toilet and washing room, but you had to use the public or private onsen to shower. That was more than fine for us, as we really enjoyed the private onsen. There is no booking system, you can just use it when it is available.

Only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring district, Kurokawa Onsen Ryokan Ichinoi offers Japanese-style accommodations with Japanese Yukata robes. The public onsen was a great place to relax. The staff greeted us upon arrival at the door. The staff helps deliver the luggage to the room, as the room was located two floors below the lobby. We had a big family Japanese style room. The place is quiet since it is up a slope. The dinner and breakfast food is delicious as well.

Kumamoto Hotel Castle ligger en 7-minutters spasertur fra det kjente Kumamoto-slottet. Hotellet har fire restauranter og moderne rom med gratis WiFi. Love the restaurant and bar in it. Will definitely come back again.
