It felt very special for us - we really enjoyed the extra size of the room, the traditional feel of decor and the cedar bath tub. the location was excellent. the staff were amazing and attentive. it was all perfect.

Newly opened in August 2016, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Ekimae offers accommodations with free WiFi. The hotel is directly connected to JR Kyoto Station and a 4-minute walk away. Very nice and helpful staff, the room had a real nice Japanese atmosphere and design, fully equipped :). The location is the best for sightseeing and travelling by train, easy and quick check in and out.

Exceptional interior of the room — everything was super authentic and traditional. The good location and polite people are great as well. The onsen is recommended if you stay here!

The hotel’s location is right beside the train station, making it very convenient. The room was big and clean, the beds were comfortable as well. Loved the autumn foliage display board in the lobby - it is updated everyday and shows the autumn colors at various temples. Breakfast offered a wide spread ranging from Western options like buns and salads to Japanese dishes such as miso soup, oden, grilled fish and steamed buns, along with fruits and ice cream. The concierge service is outstanding. The staff are fluent in English, incredibly attentive, and made the check-in experience smooth and pleasant. They were very friendly and patient in answering all our enquiries & offering helpful suggestions. As we were unable to have breakfast on the last morning, they kindly prepared breakfast bento box for us.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Amazing service from the lovely staff. The meals were all delicious and presented really well. Public onsen was relaxing and view of the garden from our room was very picturesque. In a very convenient location with the subway around the corner.

Conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Arashiyama Station, The GrandWest Arashiyama offers spacious accommodation in Kyoto. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they offered to help us carry our luggage up the stairs when we arrived. The room was great, very open and clean. Wish we'd been in the area for longer!
