Staff were absolutely attentive. The room was huge and with castle views. Very convenient if you are taking the coach line to Yufuin or Kurokawa, as the bus station is in front of the hotel.

They have free pick up and drop off. Their ryokan is very well maintained. The service team is excellent. The location is perfect. The food was extremely good. Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. Lovely location. In room onsen was so awesome to have. Views from the balcony were exceptional, mountains, the city and the sea. The food was absolutely gourmet level and was a highlight for us. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful.

Construído em 1722, o Okyakuya está situado no bairro histórico de Kurokawa Onsen. One of the best experience in a ryokan of my life. The stay is not expensive at all if we consider all the services they provide. If you are planning to stay a night in kurokawa onsen i would really recommend this ryokan, authentic and traditional experience. The staff is very kind and always ready to help, they even took me to the bus station the day after! The dinner and breakfast experience are a must! Staff will explain every dish in details and will guide you in a real culinary experience with fresh local flavour! Also amazing indoor and outdoor onsen!
