Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Best Onsen Ryokan so far visiting Kurokawa for the 4th time, great choices of onsen at different hours. We also found the meals sizes more friendly and not over the portion like many other ryokans in the region, didn't need to feel bad not being able to finish all the food.

Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto features accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Kumamoto Castle. High-level service. The hotel is a bit dated, but its very central location makes it great value for money.

Rokans Yamanoyu atrodas pilsētā Minamioguni, 100 metru attālumā no tūrisma informācijas centra Kurokawa Onsen. Viesiem ir pieejams bezmaksas bezvadu internets un termālo avotu vanna. The staff were super accommodating and friendly. The Onsen were amazing and many to chose from. If you arrive by bus it’s good to contact for a pick up as it’s a bit of a distance from kurokawa village.

Located in Chikushino, 500 metres from Buso-ji Temple, Daimaru Besso has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. Food was amazing - staff was incredibly thoughtful - amazing spacious room and great hot spring

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. Top notch. Half board meals incredible. In room hot spring bath was wonderful. Excellent service

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. The place is wonderfully preserved and the staff is gentle and lovable, they are truly committed to enable their guests have a great time. What I liked: the hotel, location, staff, food.

Yunohira Kamiyanagiya offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 40 km of Crasus Dome Oita and 16 km of Kinrinko Lake. Best experience of our lives! The food was the best food we have ever eaten and the staff and service were superb! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’re in Japan and want a truly authentic experience stay here.

Set in Yufu, 48 km from Crasus Dome Oita, Yufuin Ryokan Yamanami features accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and spa facilities. 2 nights of high comfort. Waking up with the mountain view from the window and taking an onsen bath is a great start of the day. Highly recommend also if you don't speak any japanese.
