Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff is very nice, the food is great, the room is big and perfectly equipped.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and were very flexible with arrivaltime. They went above and beyond to accommodate our special dietary needs, showing exceptional care and effort. Their kindness and high level of service made our stay special - thanks! The onsens were a highlight—especially the outdoor ones. The variety of both private and shared baths allowed us to enjoy peaceful, relaxing moments in beautiful surroundings. As it's a smaller ryokan, the atmosphere was intimate and personal, which made our experience more unique. We stayed for two nights, and the ryokan surprised us with two different dining experiences in two separate rooms. It was a fun and memorable touch—and the food was excellent on both nights, beautifully presented with great attention to detail. We highly recommend Ryokan Yamanoyu and would love to return one day. Het Daimaru Besso ligt in Chikushino, op 500 m van de tempel Buso-ji. Het biedt een aantal voorzieningen, waaronder een bar en gratis WiFi. This was the best stay I have ever stayed. So much that I really want to gatekeep it. It was whimsical and out of a fairytale, looks exactly, if not better than the pictures. I really regret not staying longer. Room was super vintage beautiful and clean, very big too. Facilities are good, hot baths were immaculate. I am 200% going back. This place was the best decision I have made last year. Highly recommend❤️ thank you for making my stay memorable❤️✨

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. Top notch. Half board meals incredible. In room hot spring bath was wonderful. Excellent service

Simply - and by far - the best place that we stayed at while visiting Japan. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The Japanese style rooms are lovely and they have a great view. The food is delicious. The Kaiseki is nothing fancy, but it is all very well prepared and a great experience. There are various onsens, most of them we could enjoy almost by ourselves. Definitely recommend Okyakuya to anyone visiting Japan!

Yunohira Kamiyanagiya is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Yunohira Onsen in Yufu, en bevindt zich op 16 km van Kinrinko Meer, 33 km van station Oita en 37 km van station Beppu. Such a wonderful experience!! It was my father's first time staying at ryokan and he absolutely loved it. The property was beautiful, staff incredibly sweet and friendly, and the meals delicious. The property has indoor and outdoor private onsens. Truly a relaxing experience being in an outdoor onsen, especially in the morning. There is a free coffee machine for espressos in the lobby available at certain hours. We booked with the breakfast and kaiseki dinner included. Everything was delicious and the staff are so on top of bringing out the next course. Lovely experience tucked away in a beautiful mountain setting. Highly recommend staying here!!

Yufuin Ryokan Yamanami is gelegen in Yufu, op 48 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. The baths were so lovely and accommodating of kids. The breakfast was amazing and different everyday. We didn't try the dinner as it was quite expensive and our kids can be fussy (and loud...) but it smelt amazing!!!!
