A very nice room with a sea view (all rooms in the hotel have this!), super clean and big, a very lively and friendly owner who also speaks English! The hotel is a little bizarre, you feel like you're in a film!

Interior of lobby is nice. Onsen is good. Breakfast is so delicious. The staff is so attentive and well trained from front to waitera d driver.

The female owner has an inquisitive mind, a warm personality, and a kind heart. Her English is good enough to communicate and ask for help. The sauna and the private onsen in the room are top-notch. I did not check the public onsen with natural hot spring, but heard it's amazing too. I booked the 5th floor with an ocean view, and the private onsen experience during starry night and the set rise were indeed amazing! The hotel itself is located in a remote little cute fish town called osatsucho, where you can find fishmen and women harvesting and selling the Ise lobsters in the morning by the port. It was a very unique and interesting experience to stay in that little town for two days during the winter when it was not crowded at all. The nearest convenience store is 10 + miles away. It was a very natural, grounding, even retreat-like experience to me, and it was drastically different from my experience in Tokyo, Nayoga, or Osaka. I did spot a few demolished houses with broken windows in the town, not sure if it's because of COVID or during the winter when there were fewer tourists. The big plus is the Shinmei shrine next door to the hotel, which is a very calming and spiritual place to visit and stay for a bit too.

Private roten buro-bath was exceptional. The room was huge. Self-service coffee bar was nice and food was more than we could eat.

Com suítes espaçosas e vista da Baía de Ago-wan, o Shima Kanko Hotel foi o local da G7 Ise-Shima Summit 2016. O hotel fica a 10 minutos a pé da Estação de Trem de Kashikojima. Dinner food was elegant and delicious! Local taste foods with Portuguese source was fancy!

To start off, if you arrive at Toba Train Station between 1430-1800, they provide free shuttle service to the hotel, which otherwise would be a 20 minute walk. Look for their name beside their car. The staff were friendly to a fault and even if they can't keep up with English, they'd do anything to help you. The place is old, that's what you get for looking for an onsen ryokan but it's well maintained and the cuisine offered was faultless.

Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace fornece acomodação com piscina ao ar livre com funcionamento sazonal, estacionamento privativo grátis, jardim e terraço em Shima. As a European, I love it. I was worried it might be tacky, cheap, kitsch and so on, but it's just a really lovely and stylish slice of Mediterranean. Grounds and facilities were impeccable thanks to recent renovations. Great food, great public bath, great staff. The breakfast was a delight. It's just about within walking distance of the Yokoyama trail area if you're up for a bit of hiking.

Breakfast is correct in term of dishes proposed. The quality of the food is good but not exceptional. Quantity is OK as it is possible to go several times to the buffet The breakfast room is overlooking the bay and it is a nice way to start the day. Good location, nice view and, correct food make a satisfied customer...

Com 2 restaurantes, café e bar, todos com uma vista magnífica do mar, o Toba International Hotel fica a 4 minutos de carro da estação de trem de Toba. I first stayed at this property 15 years ago, so wanted to stay here again on my anniversary trip to Toba. This time, I took advantage of the hotel shuttle that picks guests up from the station and transports you up the hill to the hotel. Also, the first time I stayed here in 2011, I didn’t know about the neighboring ryokan run by the hotel that features a hot Spring hotel guests can use. There are two different hot springs that use Mikimoto pearl products that make your skin feel fantastic! And because it was winter, they were doing marshmallow toasting in the lobby. I love that the rooms have a table and chairs overlooking the bay, it’s a perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine or sake at the end of the day. Breakfast buffet had ample selections, although some of the items weren’t hot (this was towards the end of the service). Outstanding customer service.
