Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Really lovely welcoming guesthouse with great staff. Food was everything we needed.

Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel. Het eten(Japans) was uitstekend. Ruime kamer met uitzicht op zee. Shuttle van en naar Ferry en shrine op afroep.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Our stay at this modern hotel on Miyajima Island was fantastic from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Although the hotel is about a kilometer from the ferry terminal, they offer a free and very convenient transfer service, which made everything super easy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the famous Itsukushima Shrine, the iconic torii gate, and also close to the ropeway up Mount Misen. We chose a plan with dinner and breakfast included, and the dining experience was truly exceptional — dinner was a beautifully presented multi-course fine dining experience, and breakfast was a traditional Japanese-style meal that we really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and check-in, check-out, and arranging the transfer were all effortless. The small public bath was a great way to relax, especially the outdoor section, which was tastefully decorated with plants and felt amazing on a chilly night after a day of hiking. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious stay on Miyajima!

Mizuhasou ligt voor het Miyajima Aquarium en op 5 minuten lopen van de uitgang van het Itsukushima-heiligdom. Het biedt accommodatie met een moderne maar traditionele inrichting. Everything was fantastic - the rooms came with Yukatas, pajamas, vests, tea, water, a towel bag and one face wash set. The breakfast in the morning was unbelievable - that alone made the price well worth it, but add in the baths and lovely rooms & decor - just an unbelievable stay.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Fantastische onsen, heerlijk avondmaal en ontbijt, elke keer anders, gratis shuttle, ligging. Wij hadden 2 verschillende kamers omdat er geen 2 nachten in dezelfde kamer vrij waren en van de verhuis hoefden we ons niks aan te trekken. Dat werd allemaal perfect voor ons geregeld.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Great location, incredible views, comfortable rooms and above all, amazing service from the friendly and helpful staff at reception!

Sakuraya is gerenoveerd in 2013 en biedt betaalbare kamers in Japanse stijl met uitzicht op de bergen of de zee. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in de openbare ruimtes. Everything! The room, the position, the staff ... everything was over the top

Miyajima Hotel Makoto bevindt zich in Miyajima, op 2,3 km van Tsutsumigaura Beach en 7 minuten lopen van Pagode met vijf verdiepingen, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele... The room was amazing, as were the facilities, including the lobby and dining area. Retro charm, but impeccably maintained, like stepping into another era. Traditional dinner was delicious and the portions were generous.

Miyajima Morinoyado is na renovatie in april 2014 heropend en biedt comfortabele kamers en een ruim openbaar bad. Fantastische plek op het eiland, geweldig uitgebreid diner en ontbijt, heerlijk badhuis wat ‘s ochtends vroeg exclusief is voor hotelgasten (met je gratis kimono zo het badhuis in)
