Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Wat een fijne plek is dit zeg! De sfeer is heel goed, we hadden een geweldige kamer met mooi uitzicht. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte kijk je uit op de prachtige tuin. Het ontbijt en diner wat wordt aangeboden is erg gastvrij. We loved our stay at Kikunoya! We had one of the traditional Japanese rooms with tatami mat flooring tatami bedding combined with the kaiseki style meal. The highlight of our stay was the very personal service from the staff, they truly made the stay feel intimate and made it a very memorable experience. We very much enjoyed the kaiseki meal, the Onsen and our traditional room. On top of this Miyajima is truly its most magical after dark and in the morning when most tourists have left the island. This really made the experience of staying over night even more memorable!

Oyado Tsukiusagi is gelegen op 13 minuten lopen van Momijidani Park en 600 meter van The great Torii, en is voorzien van kamers in Miyajima. Thank you for a beautiful stay here. There are only a few rooms, which makes it super private and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and super clean and comfortable. They even provide free coffee in the lobby. Location is superb, just 3min walking from the ferry port (but still super quiet and peaceful)

Mizuhasou ligt voor het Miyajima Aquarium en op 5 minuten lopen van de uitgang van het Itsukushima-heiligdom. Het biedt accommodatie met een moderne maar traditionele inrichting. Great location , close to town and the red Tori. Spacious comfortable room, view of the forest in the back, nice building with a restaurant downstairs with excellent food. Great breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. You can leave your bags if needed. We walked from the ferry, 20-30 mns. Great bath/tubs. Everything works well.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Beautiful property. We had the half board with multi course traditional Japanese meals. They were amazing but yes, pricey. We wore our traditional Japanese. The hubby used the Osen and said it was fabulous. I didn’t go as I stayed with our 10 year old daughter who didn’t feel comfortable doing it. The staff was helpful and courteous. We left our bags with them on the day of checkout and they brought us to the ferry around 14.30.

Prachtige ruime kamers met uitzicht op zee en de shrine, heerlijke onsen met uitzicht op de shrine. Heerlijk eten. Goed ontbijt. Fantastische lounge mrt gratis drinken, wijn en snacks. Heerlijk ontbijt. Loopafstand dorpjes, bezienswaardigheden. Echt een aanrader

Sakuraya is gerenoveerd in 2013 en biedt betaalbare kamers in Japanse stijl met uitzicht op de bergen of de zee. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in de openbare ruimtes. De vriendelijkheid, servicegericht en locatie. De voorzieningen waren meer dan verwacht
