Absolutely delightful stay in traditional b&b. Great tatami room with own bath and toilet. Lovely view to mountains and tasty breakfast.

Set 2.3 km from Miyazaki Station, 7.6 km from Oyodo River Study Center and 11 km from Miyazaki Phoenix Zoo, Yurakuan Miyazaki provides accommodation located in Miyazaki. The hotel is located next to the Oyodo river which is great for running og walking along. We were welcomed by the friendly staff which made us very welcome. They had a number of written information sheets in English about the hotel and facilities which was great as our Japanese is limited and so was their English. The room was with tatami flooring and futon mattresses. The bathroom was a totally covered outdoor space which although in winter was great. It was chilly to start with but quickly warmed up when you either started the shower or began to fill the bath. The last being a wonderful wooden bath. There was free parking right by the hotel. Although the room was with no meal plan they provided toast and butter/jam for breakfast free of charge together with the complimentary coffee/tea. I would definitely stay at Yurakuan Miyazaki if I came back to town.

This is a beautiful hotel with luxurious views and facilities. The rooms are huge and well equipped. The food was lovely with a good selection of western and Japanese cuisine. Several onsens to choose from. Nice bar area.

The countryside location is amazing - you're surrounded by nature and as we went mid week it was super peaceful as we were the only guests there! The cabin is nice and rustic with a great veranda overlooking volcanos in the distance.
